Teerasil Fittings and Plates, Bangkok, Thailand, is a prominent producer and distributor of **Stainless Steel 317/317L forged fittings** for piping systems that require superior performance. The forged fittings have superior resistance to chemical attack as well as corrosion, particularly in sulfur and chloride-containing environments. Stainless Steel 317 has greater strength as well as corrosion resistance, whereas 317L, the low-carbon version, offers excellent weldability as well as resistance to intergranular corrosion. Teerasil produces these fittings according to international standards such as ASTM A182, meeting the needs of chemical processing, pulp and paper, marine, and pharmaceutical industries with efficient, durable components.

Stainless Steel 317/317L forged fittings are produced using austenitic stainless steel with 18–20% chromium, 11–15% nickel, and 3–4% molybdenum. The additional molybdenum gives improved resistance to crevice corrosion and pitting in harsh environments. Grade 317L contains a maximum of 0.03% carbon, reducing the chances of carbide precipitation upon welding. These fittings provide tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa and yield strength of about 205 MPa. The forging operation enhances their mechanical strength, pressure-handling capacity, and grain structure even more, making them best suited for critical and corrosive applications.
