Super Duplex Steel UNS S32750 Forged Fittings consist of approximately 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 4% molybdenum, supplemented with nitrogen and trace elements to provide added strength and resistance against corrosion. These fittings provide superior mechanical characteristics with tensile strength up to 800 MPa and yield strength approximately 550 MPa. The duplex microstructure of the alloy (austenite and ferrite) gives superior resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion. It also gives high impact toughness, even at cold temperatures. These characteristics make UNS S32750 suitable for severe service conditions where mechanical stress and corrosion are essential.
